Our multi-award-winning, 100% natural calendula rich balms can keep all sorts of potentially difficult skin clear, calm and in a happy place. 

We have a lot of customers with skin prone to eczema, perioral dermatitis, acne, rosacea and other chronic skin conditions who love these products and they are helpful for day to day emergencies like nettle rash, heat rash or chicken pox (see customer reviews). 

They contain potent doses of our favourite soothing herbs to calm any skin that needs some extra love.

Use head to toe, day or night, as required. Use frequently and sparingly for best results.

Overview of Lyonsleaf Calendula Products

Zinc and Calendula Cream

• Cooling and very calming, this is our most popular product for difficult skin
  
• Great for oily skin and teenage skin
• It can be drying, but this can help with blistering rashes and blemishes
• Calms reactions more than repairing skin barrier.
• Very water repellant so it is useful as a barrier cream to protect fragile skin when bathing.
• Award winning nappy cream
• Loved by people with perioral dermatitis, weepy eczema, acne, rosacea, chicken pox, seborrhoeic dermatitis and topical steroid withdrawal.

Calendula and Marshmallow Balm

• Maintains and repairs skin barrier (if damage is bad this may take several weeks)
• Very hydrating and softening and calming.
• For very dry, itchy, cracked, chapped rough or hard skin. 
  
• Can be used instead of or along side the Zinc and Calendula Cream to hydrate and calm without any drying effect.
• Loved by people with dry eczema, psoriasis, water damaged hands damaged skin barrier, topical steroid withdrawal and any dry inflamed skin.

Calendula Cream

• This is a whipped lighter product, fragranced with therapeutic essential oils which may be helpful for some people but could irritate others.
• Contains a high percentage of shea butter, (not in the other two calendula products) which can be very beneficial for some eczema sufferers.
• A great product to keep minor inflammations at bay and can be used as a daily moisturiser after cleansing to hydrate, calm and protect.
• Rich in Vitamin A.

Everybody's skin is different and it is difficult to say which might suit you. We suggest you starting with the Calendula Skin Rescue Sample Set so you can try all three. They ship as a large letter (UK) so the postage cost is minimal and it's a great way to decide which products you want to purchase in a full sized pot.

There is an option to add a Beauty Balm to the sample set so that you can try oil cleansing to replace soap and harsh facial cleansers with the Oil Cleansing Method. This is a great way to improve skin barrier by avoiding stripping the skins natural oils when cleansing. Follow up with a calendula rich product to calm angry skin.
